Coalition Executive Director Honored as 2018 Oral Health Champion by the MDHA

The Missouri Dental Hygienists’ Association (MDHA) presented Coalition Executive Director, Gary Harbison, with the 2018 Oral Health Champion award at the MDHA Annual Session on Friday, October 19 in Springfield. Mr. Harbison was recognized for working diligently to increase access to oral health care for all Missourians and for working to fulfill the Coalition’s mission of improving Missouri oral health.  “It is a great honor to be recognized for this work,” noted Mr. Harbison.  “The Coalition is a statewide network of oral health advocates working together to meet Missouri’s oral health challenges,” said Harbison, adding, “Without the strong support of individuals and important organizations, including the Missouri Dental Hygienists’ Association, we could not achieve the movement on oral health Policy we have seen in the past few years.”
